Cheyenne, Wyo. - The Cheyenne Police Department is sounding the alarm on a new Scam Alert.

CPD is warning food truck vendors that a new fraud scheme is making the rounds involving fake Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) permits.

According to a new post, CPD says a scammer using the name "Michael Francis" is emailing food truck vendors across the state, pretending to represent Fun Biz Concessions (CFD's official food concessionaire). The email contains a fraudulent permit application and a request for payment via Venmo or PayPal. This individual is not affiliated with CFD or Fun Biz Concessions.
