Denver, Colo. - Baseball season is upon us and the Colorado Rockies have partnered with Wyoming News Now and KGWN/KCWY's parent company Marquee Broadcasting to air nearly a dozen games on television.
Beginning May 23, 10 Rockies games will air on Cheyenne's CW (5.3) and Central Wyoming's CW (13.2) throughout our viewing area.
"Wyoming is Rockies country, so Wyoming News Now is excited to help bring Colorado Rockies baseball to its Wyoming fanbase this season," said News Director Jeremy Downing. "As with all our newscasts and programming, those games can be watched free over the air with any digital antenna."
Each of the games Wyoming News Now will be airing this season are on Fridays evenings:
May 23 (6:40pm): New York Yankees
June 6 (6:40pm): New York Mets
June 20 (6:40pm): Arizona Diamondbacks
July 4 (6:10pm): Chicago White Sox
July 18 (6:40pm): Minnesota Twins
Aug. 1 (6:10pm): Pittsburgh Pirates
Aug. 15 (6:40pm): Arizona Diamondbacks
Aug. 29 (6:40pm): Chicago Cubs
Sept. 5 (6:40pm): San Diego Padres
Sept. 19 (6:10pm): Los Angeles Angels
In addition, Wyoming News Now Sports Director Ethan Bird and his team will be bringing you highlights and results from the Rockies games throughout the season, on both KGWN and KCWY.
This year Coors Field turns 30 years old, and the Rockies will be celebrating all season long.
