Laramie, Wyo. - For the sixth time this season, a snowplow was struck in southeast Wyoming.
The latest incident happened on Interstate 80 near Laramie at around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
According to WYDOT, the driver of a passenger vehicle rear-ended a WYDOT snowplow heading east on I-80. The plow operator was at the closure gate at mile marker 317 in the eastbound lane when the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into the plow.
The back axle of the plow was damaged but the plow operator was not hurt, however injuries were reported to the passenger vehicle occupants. The crash investigation is ongoing.
This is the 14th plow hit this season in the state and the sixth in District 1.
