Lander, Wyo. - In celebration of the upcoming National Volunteer Week, the Lander Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Recruitment Open House for those interested in joining their team.

The event will be held on April 24, 2025, at the LVFD Fire Station on 430 Garfield Street, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Members of the Lander Volunteer Fire Department will be there and available to provide valuable information about the recruitment process and showcase various aspects of the fire service.

Attendees will have the chance to climb aboard a fire engine, try on firefighting gear, and tour the fire station.
