Casper, Wyo. - A GoFundMe page has been set up for the 16-year-old shot and killed Wednesday night.
The teenager, identified by the Natrona County Coroner's Office as Riley Jacob Sears of Casper, died after being shot in a home in the 4000 block of East 8th Street.
DeShawn Pederson set up the GoFundMe page saying his family lost a "bright, energetic soul who always brought light wherever he went, especially his nephew, with whom he loved to play with."
Pederson is using GoFundMe to ask the community to help cover Riley's burial costs.

According to a release, the Public Safety Communication Center received a 911 call for the report of a shooting around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found several individuals, including Sears who had been shot and killed inside the home.
Casper police officers also discovered evidence of recent drug use as well as several stolen firearms inside the home.
Luka Rasmussen, 18, is charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection to Sears' death.
